A lovely cafe located in the Hokkaido University. The cafe had large windows with a beautiful view. The famous Hokkaido University milk was very flavourful. We also had the cafe latte and special white prafait. Was a bit hungry but the lunch menu ended at 3pm. So we ordered the lasagna which was quite good

Cafe with nice view located close to main entrance of Hokkaido University. I ordered coffee latte. The latte taste very unique since the milk is so creamy and rich. I also ordered gelato and its so fresh. Definetely would comeback again.

Marche Cafe & Labo - Perfect location for a campus stroll Tucked right beside the Hokkaido University Museum on the Sapporo campus — ideal for a quick rest after wandering the beautiful grounds. It's also not far from Sapporo Station! The café menu highlights fresh local Hokkaido ingredients like milk, cheese, corn, and potatoes. You can really feel their passion for the "local production for local consumption" concept. More than a café — it’s a lab! True to its name, the space also promotes the university’s agricultural and food-related research. It’s a mini food science exhibit in disguise — fun and educational. Ice cream lovers, take note! Soft serve is only available at the takeout window, while the indoor café serves rotating flavors of gelato. I tried the milk and matcha — both were super rich and flavorful! I ordered a latte made with Hokkaido university milk — warm, creamy, and topped with a layer of melted cheese. You add the coffee yourself, which made it feel extra cozy and personal. The dining area is spacious and peaceful — a great spot to sip coffee and read in total relaxation. No loud chatter, just a calm, welcoming vibe. The café opens at 10 AM, and people start lining up right away — so plan ahead if you want a seat! Marche Cafe & Labo is more than just a place to grab a drink — it’s a delightful blend of café comfort, local flavor, and university spirit. We had all 4 flavours of ice cream and it is delicious. I also had the Hokkaido university milk which is fresh and creamy. Highly recommended.

We came to Hokkaido university for a t-shirt and softserve. Softserve came in a coffee mug and was 600 yen. Taste had a mild milk flavor and not as fatty and rich as the Harvest festival softserve tasting flights. The group liked this softserve while I preferred rich fatty one by Rakuno Gakuen university.

Wanted to go to the Museum but it was closed on the Tuesday after a Monday public holiday :( Walked past this cafe situated in the campus surrounded by greens, decided to pop in for a quick break. The dishes are definitely on the pricier side, but service was good. Milk was not bad I guess, but my palate wasn't sophisticated enough to differentiate it from most milks ...
